NVQ staff development
Leisure Support Services is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new partnership with Blue Training, a company which assesses and delivers the vocational training requirements for employers within the UK.
Blue Training is currently in the process of enrolling Leisure Support Services staff on to NVQ programmes across the company's contracts including Brit Oval, Ricoh Arena and the Old Royal Naval College. Staff will have the opportunity to register on to courses including cleaning services, customer services and hospitality. Such a development programme will give them the skills to deliver their roles with confidence and also broaden their opportunities for career progression in the future.
Rick Tamplin, Business Development Manager for Blue Training said, "Many employers are missing out on the key benefits that the 'Train to Gain' packages offer so it's great that Leisure Support Services has decided to come on board. We already have a number of Leisure Support Services employees registered on to the NVQ programme and we look forward to others signing up over the coming months."
Paul Esson, Business Improvement Partner at Leisure Support Services said, "We are delighted to start this relationship with Blue Training and have been impressed with the proficiency in which Blue Training have visited our contracts to launch the programme. Being able to offer a nationally recognised vocational qualification to our employees in addition to our own in-house training is excellent news and acknowledges our continuing commitment to the development of our staff."
